the super cheap but good quality Samsung YP-U3 today finally give up liao, but then still operational, just the USB tak boleh connect, but can charge.... not entirely kaput la, just can't copy paste mp3 anymore.... hv to stick with what i have on that 2GB space.
but then I have YP-S3 to replace him. if all else fail, go back to using PSP la....

Max Payne or Pain?
Being a hardcore fan of Max Payne 1 & 2 PC game, I went to watch Max Payne on its premiere day, well, let's say the cinema (GSC) is 10-15 peoples in one theater, the best environment to enjoy a movie, not those noisy hand phone ringing TGVs.
OK, to the point. Max Payne is a videogame that inspired by detective drama with noir kinda feel. so its like a movie based on a game that mimic movie style storytelling. When you watch the movie if you are playing the game, you will notice the similarity, the style, the music and the acting. In the game, we get the comic art (like Sin City type) slideshow cutscene with balloon dialog. Bear in mind, this game made bullet-time famous with to Matrix. But as much as I hope this feature in the movie, I dislike it. Its like they purposely did the bullet-time to please the gamer audience. They place the effect in the most wrong timing. Second is the storyline, you venture into deep dark secret of detective Max, from flashbacks to narration of his colleagues. And there is one thing i expect to see but disappointed, in the 2nd game, When Max is hospitalized and UI, we get to feel the drousiness and the screen is like our mabuk vision. Instead, after Max took the Valkyr liquid, he's like Mario after getting the Star.
But then my review is based on a hardcore Max Payne fan point of view. I don't know bout non fans, I hope they enjoy as much as I am. Nevertheless I give this movie.... 7.5/10 score
and also we don't need Ludacris' IA character, pretty much nothing useful in the movie storyline.

Where is the Xbox love?
The most anticipated console has arrived, the Microsoft Xbox 360. If you haven’t heard of Xbox, it’s Okay, probably you heard of PS2. That is what’s happening to non gaming community they know what PS2 is but never notice Xbox. What makes the poor Xbox gotten so little attention? Games variety. PS2 obviously spanning more choice of software than Xbox. Though some might argue PS2’s are way better games than Xbox360, they are slightly wrong. Xbox an American hardware geared more towards western style games, while PS2 Japanese/Asian style. Xbox just happen to dropped on wrong country, Malaysia .
Do you know Xbox was originally called “DirectX-Box” and like many Malaysian, I was skeptical about the big black box larger than a VCR. Guess what, it was Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind that capture my attention, the RPG game that inspire me wanting Xbox. This VCR sized console happens to have a great controller design, Music ripping, and the graphic are way better than PS2 (Xbox water effects & polygon texture are high-res). Still if you compare Need for Speed Most Wanted, you’ll notice PS2 version looked cartoon, Xbox version look almost realistic.
Xbox was underrated. No, this is not fanboy speaking, I do have PS2 & PSP even DS. This is just because I was wrong about Xbox.
At first I thought of skipping Xbox360 to go for PS3, but then it was the value of Xbox that I experience brought me into buying Xbox360. Believe me, it is not bad at all. Considering the detail of 3D, I still jaw drop every time I play Gears of War and Elder Scrolls 4 : Oblivion.

I had a bit disliking of Xbox since its 1st launch, due to the controller & some part I felt they’re copying Dreamcast console. Well then I felt like say, “PS2 Fan-boy”. PS2 was my only next-gen console back then (previously own Sega Dreamcast & PS1), so I & my friends always argue which console is better… their GameCube or Xbox or my PS2…
Then came Halo & Project Gotham Racing 2 (Xbox), played it at friend’s house & got attached, Project Gotham Racing 2 is visually stunning, looks photorealistic & gameplay is solid. So I went straight to buy Xbox & starts appreciate its features… It doesn’t hv big game library as PS2 does, but most of their games are pretty high in quality & replay values. If you are skeptic bout Microsoft’s Xbox, go ahead & give it a try, maybe u’ll love it.
And now in 2008, here's what i say....
Lost my Xbox360 1 year ago, due to thunder strike short circuited it. I think I spend around RM1999 for the game console. The thing is, now everyone thought i will get a PS3 straight, no I say. Think about it, the recent Malaysia PS3 price RM1999 full package, if add the HDMI cable bout RM170, and then upgrade my modem to wireless oso around RM200+ and upgrade my streamyx speed... add all up its like a wow, should I spend that much, after all, gaming is not my priority. I only interested in PS3 because, its a cheap Blu Ray player with videogame console, satu tembak, 2 burung kena. So this, I have to wait Blu Ray disc turun harga which i give until next year. With the current inflation and economy downturn, I have to think 10 times before i buy.
Let me tell u what i learn from past, You can't eat can't sleep thinking of the console u mahu beli, everyday you daydream and then when you decided you should buy it, you go. You evade massive traffic, run up the store, find parking, shove off crowd, then you pay. When you got home you play the stuff like a caveman with drumstick. At the same time while playing, there's one thing cross your mind : " Now that I have it, so? then? " what's the big deal? You will feel regret, that is why you treat the machine like Gollum with Ring. Its not to say I didn't enjoy, I've had fun and it does bring lots of good memory. Just that RM1999 just gone, because I off & didnt unplug it, and thunder strike while I at work. Anyway thats just me now, not the hardcore guy rush to buy console like there's no tomorrow.

Tile printing
before start, KNNBCCB can also means "Kite not navigating because cloud clear background"
It has been 7 years since my last service towards tiles industry.... i decided to do reminiscence of the past experience. Let's see if I can still recall the pieces.
Wow, I missed those days... Everyone in office makan all go together 1pm, or we have a canteen everyone like buka party. Very harmony... those were sweet memories.
so in tiles we deals with inches. 3x3, 6x6, 8x8, 8x10, 12x12 etc. granite tiles, marble, mortar, limestone, some mixture of cement and porcelain, glaze or no glaze. But my nature of work is based mostly wall tiles and tabletop tiles.
Firstly we have a silk screen printing machine or handprint for special order. In silk screen, we have various level, from very fine mesh to very large mesh hole. so if we were to print gold reflective coating we are not allowed to fine mesh. The more liquid the coating the finer mesh it can pass trough. So, in design the silk screen usually i use Photoshop, using Alpha to break the color into several coating. we have a rule that all design must leave 3mm blank on edge to avoid coating burn and smearing. all the color layers design are made into positive film.
Second is the preparation of the silk screen. coat the emulsion inside the border evenly with a rubber press. Once dried, place the positive film on a powerful lightbox and place the silk screen board on top of film, close the lid and let it for 1/2 hour. Once done, use pressure water pump to wash away the coat, it will remove the exposed area, free the art area from the emulsion. Let It dry and keep away from exposing direct sunlight.
Third is the preparation of color, I forgot what is the chemical name of the color, it is a type of ceramic mixture that can be glazed with the surface of the tiles. If the tile surface is glazed we need to use petroleum or thinner bout 3%, if non glaze is just plain water will do. then stir evenly, coz stirring is boring part.
Fourth is placing the silk screen on printer and then pour the color. start printing. The printing part lagi susah mau explain. After printing take out silk screen and replace with second layer color. something like if print a leaf, print the light green, then print the shadow green and lastly the black outline.. my record so far is 1000 tiles per hour for 3 color design. my hand kena hempit by the print head few times... sakit like hell.
After that it is placed on an oven of 1000 degree celcius (normal cremation one 500 degree), means if i jump inside i become ash before 1/2 way. 1 hour of time used for firing, once out if you want to play "pop pop" you pour cold water on it, coz it will crack 1/2. so we let it cool naturally. after that kautim, can bungkus.
Some tiles cannot be fired more than 3 times, except for White Horse punya glazed white tiles... tried 7 times oso won't crack. Carefully chose tile, make sure the climate of the imported tiles suitable.

We got pearl gloss effects, gold plated coloring (small % real gold mixture, super expensive), metallic effects, and most dangerous of all, vitrosa or emboss art effect. PS3 finally launch in Malaysia.....
sept 20 in 1Utama Shopping centre. Following the winning of Blu-Ray in Blu-Ray vs HD-DVD format war, Blu-Ray finally get its attention in Malaysia. We will get the same region code as North America (Code=A), yay! but then as for games and blu-ray movies so far are region free. If you are avid gamer, you should consider PS3 if you gonna get a blu-ray player. They're cheaper, RM1799+ can get an 80GB with Soul Calibur IV, whereas other blu-ray player cost bout 1K-2K+.

YP-S3: Finally, after 3 weeks of stupid delays...
I just got my YP-S3 last Thursday, after the long wait and a very major disappointments, I got myself a S3 (black color). Here's my verdict:
- First time turn on, kanasai, no power cannot turn on. hv to charge using the pc USB for 1/2 hour... so waited there Jusco Bukit Raja, chat with my colleagues.
- Pay liao balik rumah start dissecting the S3.
- Samsung Media Studio, good for video conversion, bad in file transferring. actually works pretty fast if we install the provided video codec. If not, it will stuck 1/2 way.
- The game section, meh.... not worth mention
- The Music section, pretty neat and if you got U3, u get used to it.
- The Video, good performace, but small screen loh
- Aiyah, overall a worthy purchase.

My Samsung YP-S3 buying campaign
before we go, here's what latest Samsung Yepp S3 look like. very good portable media player got high review score... RM299 for 2GB.. very good deal, beats the fucking ugly yo-yo brother YP-S2. S3 Can play MP4 movie, MP3, WMA, OGG, read text, FM radio, Alarm, Games... hi-color lcd screen, touchpad... sounds like a great machine, ya, mouth watering. That's why I wanted it so badly.. so my campaign start once i receive price from people of above.. i look it and say "kanasai!!!" Its time brother Yepp U3 retired...26 August 2008 -

The RPG Maker
Long time ago, when RPG Maker from Agetec releases on PS1, I get to try it out. From every aspect, it look promising and have so much depth. It took me 3-4 hours to make one tiny quest. Not to mention it took 1 memory card full of save file. Yes, there isn't any programming code involved as that time I was an IT student. Then came RPG Maker 2 for PS2, same old same old but in 3D! wow! As I say, same old stuff, you get pretty pissed when you have to write an epic story using controller ala SMS input method.
Years after that, RPG Maker 2000, RPG Maker XP releases. This time they have scripting and you can basically recreate your own sprites, put your own music, and best part is, writing the dialogs, this time with keyboard! The script is quite basic, easy to catch up coz it deals with only conditioning, looping, choice and its structural.
Just yesterday I try out RPG Maker VX, same like XP, except the sprites size of XP can't be used. They simplify the coding even better to learn. Seeing that my programming skills deteriorate over years, I catch up quick.

The Annoying Neighbour Episode II : Kuku strikes Back
Just This morning This guy wakes up earlier than me, usually what we do wakes up? breakfast... this guy hisap few rokok and then call his kuku ciao again. He steals so many birds and the turnaround is bad, he has to keep most of the birds indoor... I guess this guy was born to sustain possible bird diseases... What? bird flu? apa tu?
One good thing bout this is all his stolen birds are so many some have to store outdoor. He has a Rotweiller dog jaga. Fortunately that big size powerful dog is actually more gentle heart than a sleeping rabbit. This dog actually big scary size with gentle persona, will climb up ask me to pet her when she saw me.... guess I am a dog person.
OK, wait, off topic, basically this guy only know how to whistle his KuKu, apparently his KuKu bird has difficulty to pee, gua. Some more he likes to talk so loud with his grandfather handphone, like he's a big businessman. Kanasai if you want to show off, get la 3G phone. Even Ah Beng oso higher standard. Some more his monotone sound Harry Potter theme, buat malu J K Rowlings saja.
Everyday hear the kuku sound and the harry potter monotone makes you wanna buy gun and cap his forehead with .22 caliber slug( means bullet in America). Kanasai

About Dr. M's blog
Well, I never do blogging, started last time on Friendster but got disinterested. It was until I started reading Niamah blog, bolehjokes and ultimately Dr. M's blog. Tun Dr. Mahathir's blog got me back into writing blogs. Unlike other blogs, I will use this to write all that I feel, I try not focus on politics coz I hate politics.
Enough bout me, This article is about Dr. M's Che Det blog, I admire his passion in writing his blog. Its full of energy and now I respect him even more. Under his leadership I saw lots of memorable things happen in our country, Commonwealth games, MSC, etc. What we are today all owe it to this great guy, If weren't for him, we would not live luxurious life today. Since the new PM, all I see is nothing memorable... oh yes there is, price naik, thousands carry picket sign to protest, rallying, but nothing great really happen.
Anyway, congratulation to Dr. Mahathir for making a successful blog. By the way, It was I who did one of your Birthday photo portrait(the one with text on bottom) for this year.

Annoying neighbour
My next door neighbour is some cibai shit cina kui, moved here 1 year ago. kanasai every night some samseng guy will come chat with tat fella standing outside for hours and most of their conversation involve "asking regards of someone's mother and her genitalia". they shout until i can hear from few block and mostly 1-2am and their kap chai vroom vroom. soemtimes their lau pok car.
Ok, thats not the worst, every morning You will see a new puppy or new expensive bird outside their house. at night they will distribute it with some other cina kui. sometime he has to distribute "something" via house back door. Occasionally i see him burning statements/documents... those people who brought in goods are some night watchmen that ppl usually pay them to ronda the house area. these people are real con job.
On the funny side this guy talks like 70% bad words, 30% real words. like we all say " Ali is a bad person" their language sounds like "kaninama cibai Ali, heh chao lancau kia kam lan cibai lin boo, kan neh cibai pai lan pah cibai, nee lam pah kia" i mean if u say "Ali si pai lang" is enough, don't hv to beautify the words.

Terrible school experience
Since some blogger started their terrible experience at school, here's mine:
True story 1:
I was Form5, it was during trial SPM, I got call to office coz i fucking cikgu lost RM50 in handbag and I was sitting at the front desk of class. So the cikgu accuse me of stealing RM50, which i not. the disiplin guru whack me with cane force me to confess. i was so angry i shut up kena rotan until bleeding. after 1/2hr torture, and my ass is swelling like buns, its like ancient soldier torture ppl until they hv to confess, but i kept quiet. In my mind i feel like want to take nearby knife to stab that fucker, but i control myself (i regret i didnt do it).
Thank god penlolong kanan come to stop him from continue caning. So i went back to start my Sains test(I got C3)can't hardly sit. The very next day they call me into office again and say "Maaf kerana memfitnah kamu dalam kes ini kerana kita dapat tangkap pencuri sebenar..." then i goes out of office ands shout to the pengetua so bad language i still remember today.
sometimes i feel like wanted to take revenge, but then no point, let them face their karma.
True Story 2:
One of my classmate got molested by a music teacher during my primary school. that teacher grab her butt like (you know) she was scare and i was beside her performing recorder test together. i witness the whole thing until i cannot tahan, i blow the recorder so hard it shock the teacher, she ran out and cry so hard. Its a pity the parent didnt sue that molester. kanasai, if he still walks today, try looking back at what you did last time and made amend. because of teachers like this, Malaysian Education system failing. you are teachers, representing the future of Malaysian generation. try to set a good example.
I guess the teachers who were self proclaimed king back in 90's if they still teaching today, and kids today bullies them, You had it coming, man! padan muka!. that is karma.

Photo Sharing websites
Today I'm gonna share with you 3 photo sharing website: Webshots, Zorpia, Flickr.

They have a massive database of image search, u get to share your ideas & opinion. If i want to get famous, I will post my art/pic at webshots, but then again fat chance. nowadays u need at least 50 tags to get attention. If I put a tag on my photo "camera artwork", then when i do searching, I have to click next next next by the time i grew tired, my artwork hasn't even queue on the search result. by the end of the week u get a mail "congratulation, you have 3 views this week" kanasai. next time i put a bikini girls pick instead.

This is my favourite website so far. kudos to the creator Jeff. This website makes Friendster look like shit, but still Facebook currently governing the fame. This is more like a social website than a photo sharing. You can add friends like friendster, start a group, post message boards, post pictures (unlimited size & quantity) & videos. This website has become my one stop place for posting my pics (up until recently no time to post new stuff). and you can even use their album slideshow embed into a website. cool!

Mummy 3... good or bad?
I went to watch Mummy 3 on its opening day, in fact I took 1/2 day leave just for that. Usually I watch movie alone after work, less distraction from noisy cellphones, baby cry etc. I did same on Dark Knight, but that movie is a different story.
Anyway, Mummy 3. First Rachel is replaced by Maria for Evie role. There is a lack of chemistry between Rick & Evie on this one. Second is the plot, I feel the filmmaker rush up a bit, there are some good comedy element, but easily forgettable once you got out of the cinema. Third is the mandarin speaking of Dato Michelle Yeoh, wish it has more precision like Crouching Tiger. I'm a "banana man" but i feel the pronunciation aren't sound like a pure Chinese. Another thing is "why on earth daughter speaks English to the mother" when over the course of the movie they commune in Mandarin?
Mummy 3 is that bad... like Mummy 2, it fails to live up the success of 1st Mummy film. wasting my RM10 ticket money. Regret watching this.... kanasai
