Twilight : Untold Legend

So this is the story begins with Jacob Black, an unaccounted tales not covered in Twilight novel. After He and Edward become brotherly love in Breaking Dawn chapter, Jacob takes advice from Selene, to pursue his path, to rediscover his true meaning of life. So after he is no longer in clash between the long winded boring relationship drama with Bella, Jacob travels deep beneath the world of lycantrophe, to learn more about his ancestor, the great Ephraim Black.

Andreas Tanis the record keeper explains to him, Ephraim Black was once Lucian's right hand man, he was a lycan working for Viktor. However, after Lucian turn against his master following the execution of Sonja, Ephraim is given a choice; to lead the lycans to the promised land or continue suffer from slavery under Viktor and his clans, he chose the to lead. It was after the absence of lycans to guard their tomb for daylight, Viktor enlist Amelia who not only to control the order from William's massacre, but to create another breed of vampire, one who can walk in broad daylight.

After countless attempt, Amelia was able to design a new DNA code to sustain them from sun burning. A transparent skin coat with diamond like pigment, reflecting the direct sunlight. Her first test subject was Stregone Benefice, a 23 year old Englishman. After the success of blending the DNA, Amelia continues to create several other vampire hybrids. Because Stregone, a kind hearted man disgusted with Viktor's way of ruling, he fled from the clan with several other of his kind, and assume the identity of Carlisle Cullen.

Ephraim continues his service with Lucian for centuries, and sire a few hundred lycans. One of them was the promising young boy name John Talbot, a cunning shapeshifter. Later John left the clan and began his life as a powerful businessman. It was not OK from the beginning as Larry, his son was not born a Lycan. One day, Ephraim came by visit, Larry was bitten by his wolf form and began a lycanthrope mutation. Unable to accept the fact, Larry killed his father John, and Ephraim. Using his father's shapeshifting skill Larry fled to America by assuming the identity of Ephraim Black. He later was accepted as one of the chief of Quileute tribe. Larry then begin his life breeding new lycans and his last descendant is Jacob Black.

Viktor who is still searching for Carlisle, postponed the plan after receiving the intel of possible Alexander Corvinus's return. Forged an alliance with fellow vampire Deacon Frost to find and hunt down Alexander. But they were too late, Alex tricked Deacon into feeding Tara's blood not knowing that she was carrying his unborn son Eric Brooks. This however angers Viktor as he was tricked into creating another daywalker. Viktor threatens to kill Deacon and his minions if he fails to kill Eric Brooks. One of Deacon's assistant overheard the plan, and hid Eric away from them and raise him as his own son, and trained him as vampire hunter, codename Blade.

After the fail attempt to destroy the daywalkers, and Selene went rogue with Michael Corvin the new vampire/lycan hybrid, Viktor must think of a new plan. Selene learn from Tanis about the Cullens. Carlisle explains to Selene a force far greater than Viktor is coming. The Volturi, founded by bastard son of Alexander Corvinus, who is one of the immortal, father of vampire Markus and lycan Williams. Viktor feared that his clan might be, one day taken from him, kept Markus and William alive if Volturi ever returns.

Carlisle order Selene to remain discreet about this matter, to avoid any more vampire clans discover their so-called Utopia they've been living. It was too late, the young girl Bella, her problem of deciding who will she have sex with, causes great threat to Cullens safety, in a dumb fucking romantic boring drama causes Cullen's solid rock secret hiding place revealed to the rival vampire clans.

What's done is done. Cullen must now leave their den. Selene only offers them safe passageway but cannot guarantee their safety. Eric Brooks is called into action, learning that the Cullen cannot harm the human community, he escort them to safety.

Victor has no idea who to ally with at this point, he called for Lestat, a legendary vampire supposedly killed by his disciple Louis and Claudia. Lestat agreed to help, in return Viktor must help him hunting down Louis, who believed to be in contact with reporter Daniel Malloy. Shortly after that, Viktor was killed by Michael. Selene finally found Alex Corvinus and he gave her his blood, Selene became the first vampire fused with blood of immortal. She was able to walk under the sunlight, without diamond coated skin.

The Volturi arrived, and taken over Viktor's monastery. With Viktor's gone, his minions now serve under the Volturi. Lycans now without a master must forge an uneasy alliance with Selene and the Cullens. Lycans now is allied with the Cullens, Jacob & Edward Cullen's feud over Bella is finally at peace. Selene pass down an assignment to Jacob and he accepted, gather the lycans around the world and persuade them to join with the Cullens to fight against their common enemy the Volturi.

Now Selene, Eric Brooks, Michael Corvin, Jacob Black and Edward Cullen is ready to fight back the Volturi. Little is known about the Volturi, they worship a fallen Elder God. One who has been burrow deep underground together with the wheel of fate, 10,000 years ago by a vampire warlord name Kain, the wielder of legendary Soul Reaver blade.

The whereabouts of the blade is unknown today, some report that Lara Croft kept it safe in her mansion. It was the blade forged by ancient vampire Vorador 20,000 years ago, the weapon that has the power to neutralize any living vampires. Vorador created the blade as the scion for Balance, world was in the brink of destruction after an alien race know as Hylden, curse the immortal guardian of ancient city Nosgoth vampire thirst. Alexander Corvinus was one of the guardian escaped from the curse, was able to live until his dying moment with Selene.

At his dying breath, Tanis hinted Selene and Carlisle Cullen, only the Soul Reaver blade can destroy the Volturi, find the Soul Reaver, save the world.

My Resident Evil Afterlife Review

Resident Evil Afterlife.... review, I'll keep it short and simple.

So it was Raya 1st day, I got not much stuff to do, so I go out and manage to buy 1 ticket (TGV). So this movie is entirely film with 3D gadget James Cameron use in Avatar. So if you really wanna enjoy this movie, go for the 3D screening, there's a lot of shot that was meant to be viewed in 3D, and if you're in 2D screening, you'll get annoyed by those slow motion flying bullets and debris.

The Story: I'm a huge fan of Resident Evil game since RE1 back in 1997. But after that Mortal Kombat director decided to screw up the franchise's core storyline in RE1 movie, I lost respect for him. Its OK, just treat this RE as standalone movie, its still good. OK, the story starts where RE Extinction left of, Alice breaking in Umbrella secret lab, destroying it, fly around the plane looking for survivor and then old team meet up, Claire reunite with her brother Chris, fight some baddies and escape from hell. Not much of a major plot stuff. Score 2/5

The Sound/Music: Music is like all other RE movies... rock stuff, techno stuff, RE movie themes, but the sound... the sound is good. You can hear glass shatters, bullets flying, explosion stuffs. Score 3/5

The Cast: Ali Larter, Milla is great in this one especially Ali Larter. Wentworth Miller, well, kinda OK for the role of Claire's brother Chris Redfield (major character in RE game franchise) Kim Coates is well if you're familiar with his acting, you should know this one isn't any difference. Score 3/5

The Good:
- nice effects and zombie make up
- Chris Redfield is in the movie
- Claire Redfield is awesome
- Jill Valentine's cameo after credit (don't go out cinema yet, stay for this)
- Executioner (guy with giant axe) from RE5 game
- Zombies that look like Manjini from the game

The Bad:
- This movie is starting to look more like The Thing+Mad Max/Omega Man+Zombie movies
- The slow motion effects that happens everywhere and its annoying in 2D screening
- They say there is a sequel to this movie...
- Weak storyline
- zombies screen time in this movie is lesser. (not counting the CG of millions out there)
- Lots of boring gunfight, due to the slow motion, you literally have to wait 2 seconds to see the bullets flying to target's head

So the final score is - 2.5/5

I still think for RE movies RE2 is the best of the series.
